Established in 1963, Holmes Institute is a heritage brand and boutique provider of a range of educational options for the modern day student.

Originally focusing on English Language training and traditional business, accounting and MBA degrees, Holmes Institute branched into the Creative Sector in 2010 with the innovative Bachelor of Fashion Business program.

Since it's launch, the Fashion Department has grown both in size and in scope. The Bachelor of Fashion Business now takes up dedicated floors in both Melbourne & Sydney campuses and provides students with a unique, industry-focused, experience all of it's own.

Holmes Institute | Fashion runs as a industry incubator with dedicated fashion student spaces, design rooms, and professional quality photostudios available for all students and alumni.  We consistently collaborate with the wider Institute but focus on providing a boutique, creative focused, education for all our students.

Traditionally focused on business education, Holmes Institute | Fashion Faculty developed out of a need to service the next generation of creative business leaders.

Initially working with Melbourne School of Fashion, Holmes Institute | Fashion developed their Bachelor of Fashion Business to help graduates work towards employment within the fashion industry in Australia.

Design is important but so too are the marketing, product development, social media strategy and conceptual development aspects of any fashion line.

The Holmes Institute | Fashion Bachelor of Fashion Business helps students to work towards real needs of the industry, covering marketing, product management, styling, buying, merchandising, sourcing and supply chain and more.
